About the custom design process
Custom cabinets allow you to choose your style, look and function. This process is slightly more involved than simply picking out of a catalog, but it also gives you the power of infinite possibilities. Below is a short summary of the process, from start to finish.
1. Initial contact
Using our friendly contact page, you can send an e-mail or call at 530.626.8875. Contact us with the basics: your concept, time frame, and style needs.
2. Meet and measure for design
We can then collaborate or converse about your cabinet needs. After making preliminary measurements, we will run the numbers and supply you a quote for the job. At this point all of our services are free. If you are happy with our quote, we can begin working on your very own custom cabinets!
3. Drawn to life
We will draw the designs and submit them to you for your approval. At this stage, many clients choose to make adjustments to the design. This gives you additional flexibility before we start building. Once everyone is satisfied with the final draft, we purchase materials and…
4. …Start building!
Keeping your time constraints as our top priority, we will hand build your cabinets in our wood shop. You will be kept informed of our progress regularly during the construction phase of the process.
5. Your cabinets are ready
This is the final stage where the cabinets are ready for pick up or delivery.
